Steve:

I never did the powder/hair blower thing (...although I like the concept! - Something similar below*), but we did "penny-in" lots of guys over the years; a pretty standard-issue prank.

Other College pranks:

*We got large manila envelopes, taped the edges to make them stronger, filled them with shaving cream, and slipped the open end under the victim's dorm room door. The violent drop of a very large, heavy textbook onto the full envelope (Biochemistry books were famous for this) enabled spraying the entire room, including the occupants, with shaving cream. Before they could get to the door, the envelope, book, and pranksters were long gone... (Less than 7 seconds to carry-out the op was the goal.....)

Early morning, judiciously applied saran wrap over the neighboring dorm's urinals resulted in the half-asleep user winding up with wet feet/pants before they realize what's happening.

Coating toilet seats with a thin layer of glycerine. (= "squidging the seat")

Toothpaste on the underside of door knobs.

Leaning a large plastic garbage can that is 3/4 full of water against an in-opening dorm room door. Unbeknownst to the occupants, when opening the door, the resulting in-rush of water used to go clear to the opposite wall and back-flow out into the hall. We called this "monsooning" back in the late 1970s, but students I have today now call it "doing a tsunami".....

Spraying the toilet seats of girls' dorms with a silver nitrate solution. When the backs of their legs/buttocks picked up the dried silver nitrate and reacted with ambient light, their skin was temporarily stained a dull black color. Easy to see the results of your labor on very warm days in the cafeteria.... ....LOVE short-shorts....

And among my all-time favorites...

After blocking the drain with tape, pouring 10 gallons of hot, lime jello solution into your rival dorm's shower area at 3:00 am. A 1.25" layer of "solidified" jello resulted, which had to be removed manually by their dorm occupants. (...this was epic!)

Now for the second week.... ;)
