Wednesday Turning Chat 4/25

I'm sure there is someone whose favorite part of turning is sanding. Progressing through ten grits is pure bliss and adding three mico mesh stages is better than JL's lemon bars. I'm more or less in the 60 grits is good enough after all a couple trips through the dishwasher and it'll smooth out.

I might not be that bad but I don't like sanding so I'll do what I can to minimize it or make it easier. This week let's chat about sanding. We can start with the basic what paper to use. We have such a large range of brands and costs. What are the differences? Which do you prefer? Do 15 cent discs last longer and do a better job that 4 cent discs?

Okay, one last thing. What happened to the cent key on the keyboard?

See you Wednesday night at 9:30 eastern.
