Glad to see you found a way to reverse the motor. I have found that with all the tools and v-block positions either numbered or color coded, it only takes about 6 - 8 seconds to resharpen a tool with these systems. If you employ a foot switch, and keep it near the lathe while turning, the ease and speed of this method is a real bonus.
