I like to turn green wood because then the finished piece gets to deform in the way that nature has ordained. This adds a variation to the round theme and sometimes results in some pretty spectacular movement, as in this piece, where the combination of crotch, pith and sapwood makes for an unusual and probably unexpected result.
The photos worked out perfectly. Keep them coming.
