That is beautiful as it is Terry. I find I don't have the will or patience to deal with punky wood. I've tried the many fixes, but it's not my cup of tea. I hadn't heard of anyone with an allergy to CA, but it doesn't surprise me. I always wonder about the furies that those who use CA for a finish are breathing. I can even smell CA after it is cured and I am cutting a sanding an area that has been repaired (even hairline cracks) with CA. I agree with you, it is nasty stuff but sure has its uses. I may be latching onto one of your CD's just to see the master in motion.
