John, I just watched your linked sharpening video (a new one to me) and I noticed that you are using the rounded side of a grinding wheel for sharpening some tools.
Do you also advocate using the side of a grinding wheel to sharpen skews?
There seems to be considerable controversy relative to sharpening on the side of a grinding wheel, as a number of people say NEVER because of the danger of shattering a wheel.
Please comment on this issue.
