I turned a large big leaf maple burl recently and before finishing it I brought it into the house and set it on a table. Been away on a cruise for ten days and when we came home I found piles of dust under the turning.
I am wondering what might be causing this and how to eliminate the problem. Neither side has had finish applied. Will applying finish effectively close in the critters? Any suggestions. I have a picture but do not know how to get it into this post/Users/skip/Desktop/Burl Debris.jpg tgrimmed resizes
