Grip 2nd time on a twice turned piece? () Doc Green
If it's a bowl with a tenon, jam chuck it against either a flat disk or an internal jam chuck and re-true the tenon.
For a different type of piece, put it back between centers if possible and re-true the tenon, or improvise a jam chuck.
A recess is a bit more of a problem because the tailstock gets in the way when you try to re-cut the recess. Options depend on the type of piece and the severity of warping. Cole jaws might work, or a vacuum chuck.
