Gary, the "first generation" of H2O......

...finishes was guilty of leaving a bluish cast on occasion, but the latest generations have solved that problem well. I've used General Finishes High Performance finish on my white woods for several years now, and don't aim for a finish that "builds." My dislike of the H2O finishes was raising the grain and slow drying, but GF has recently introduce a Woodturners Finish that has solved the slow drying dilemma, and it dries to an invisable surface in about 10 mins. and seems to be very durable as well. I buy it at Woodcraft, and don't know about availability elsewhere.
