The me, they look more like "C" or "D" cells....

.... and not the slimmer "AA" cells...... ...the height-diameter ratio looks "off"..... I even took out a few batteries to see if my eyes were deceiving me!

Great job turning to exact specs......!! This is the one thing I dislike about spindle turning when making replicate parts.... ...it takes all the fun and flexibility out of turning when you have to turn exactly to a specified shape. This is much more like "work"....clearly it requires a lot of skill. When I teach turning, I always comment on how much harder it is to do an excellent job with replicate spindle turning, than it is to turn bowls and other one-of-a-kind vessels.
