A little of topic, but I have a question about the 10 percent rule on wall thickness.
When you get into the 26" dia range, which I have been doing lately, that makes for a hefty rough out. Do you guys modify thickness when you get into that range. Also a similar question as to ideal wall thickness on finished bowls of that diameter. I have been going with what looks right and seems to be proportionate, but it feels strange after working on "normal" size stuff.
