I can relate. I used to be afraid of snakes. Our photography club was helping out the museum where we held our meeting by photographing kids with various animals. I was shooting the kids holding Pythons. the lady that was doing all the handling looked down at her watch and said, Oh it's lunch time, here, and handed me the snake. I couldn't say no I just watched it crawl all over an 8 year old. For the next hour I handed the snake to other kids and took their pictures. Snakes aren't bad. I can now handle just about any snake although I do try to stay away from the poisenous ones.
