OK,I went down last night and checked out the tailstock alignment with the headstock and it is as perfect as it can get,(0 runout)so I have come to the conclusion that the problem lies with the mandrel chuck.BTW I do have the 60 degree live center.So can someone tell me where I can buy a precision made mandrell chuck and mandrell ?????? thanks for the help.
