It's a preference thing. Personally I can't see how anyone doesn't understand. Some cuts are easier with a smaller tool. Big handles do get in the way at times. Price? when I break the price down for what I'll pay for the MiniGlaser complete set of 12 it's no more than what I would pay for individual tooling of similar matals. As for the handles, they are actually my favorite handles. I just like the feel of them. I'm not a fan of wooden handles. So it really does boil down to personal preference. And for finials they sure are handy...
