Subject:
hockey helmet

Betty Scarpino
Try a hockey helmet/mask, the kind youth wear (not the ones the pros wear). My youngest son played ice hockey from gradeschool through highschool. A hockey mask will protect an entire head from the hardest slapshot of a frozen puck, as well as a crash into the boards or metal goalpost (might break your neck or a collarbone, though). Be sure to wear a mouth guard, just in case ... it'll keep your teeth safe.
