Let's suppose that we work for ...Ed Moore in SW VA
a tool manufacturer and that we have been tasked with choosing the woodturning tools we would select for a kit where the target purchasers own mini or midi lathes, such as a Jet 1220. The objective of the manufacturer is to maximize the sales of these kits. Tools will not be sold individually. Assume that excellent steel will be used to make the tools.
Questions:
1. How many tools would you put in a kit?
2. Which tools would you select?
3. Would you choose regular sized tools or so-called mini-tools?
Remember, your job depends on the sales of the kits.
