Re: Private note received from Jim

Thank You Ed,

You are most kind and your words of advice are well experienced with me. This idea was Dana's and she now see's how empowering it is. A friend of mine says "It's nice to sell a pen, It's even better to give one to a friend".

I know what you mean about feeling tired, after I went through 6 months of chemo, treatments every other week, that I was drained to my core. It took me a year before my body felt strong again, that taste returned to my food and my ears stopped ringing. At that time I had no idea what I was up against, but I learnt that as a patient the most important thing to me was keeping positive, the gifts of time, encouragement and thought from friends and total strangers made it all easier for me.

As survivours we too can reach out and do this simple work, pulling others through. We do make a difference.
God Bless you Ed, your courage inspires those around you...

Take care,
Jim
