I used to read them and I understood all of the math until about chapter 7 or so... and then it would frustrate me to no end that I couldn't comprehend it and just had to think of them as "pretty pictures". I've started most of them 3x and never gotten all of the way through.

I'm going to shock my 12 year old by reading it again. (He thinks I don't read, but I just don't read fiction...)
