No relation of the piece to the physics. I was searching for a name and was thinking, Shwarz-Catenoid, or something similar based on the mathematical names for the forms. Something fired (or misfired) in my brain and the idea of Shwarz's Cat hit me. I read books on physics for fun because I find it really quite fascinating and amazing (books that are intended for lay people like me with little of the math that is required to really understand it). So the name is just a nod to my interest in physics and has nothing to do with the piece. Unless it really does turn into anti-particles and wink out of existence.
