Mine still have quite a bit of the original hardened steel left, but I'm finding it difficult to get into the places I need to get with the shortened tool. Whatever that steel that Kel put on the top is, it's the best cutting metal I've ever seen... Holds an edge like a dream!

Guess I'll also have to invest in a diamond hone...
