I was in too much of a hurry, and took them to the grinder whenever I needed a fresh edge. As a result, I need to replace some of them.

That said, however, I've turned a few hundred hollow vessels with them, so I feel I got full value for the initial cost, and don't regret the replacement cost. I have used HSS inserts as well, but I think the Keltons perform light years ahead of the other tools. With the larger cutting surfaces, I have achieved surfaces folks accuse me of sanding, right off the tool. I also think the tool geometry affords a lot more capability, with much less angst.

Of course, others may not agree, and I'm OK with that, as well...
