1/4" of sleet/ice stuff on the roads. I've seen only two cars go by today so it looks like folks are being cautious. I'm more worried about the cold than the ice. It is suppose to get as low as -5 windchill in the next couple days. I've got my outside faucets covered but we just aren't use to this type of cold and I don't have any idea if the covers will protect the pipes. I had pipes freeze in my attic and the wall to the outside faucet on the north side of the house in Houston. I ended up cutting through the dry wall in the master bedroom to fix that problem and don't care to do it again. FWIW, Sunday it was up to 75 and today down to 12 so far.
