Hi, Charlie. Thanks for the pic. In light of what Katherine said I might be better off regrinding that one to the Spindlemaster shape and give that a try.

I'm still undecided about the point issue. They are handy to have for the reason John mentioned. I seem to find myself working mostly at the heel end, which I understand is supposed to be a big no no also. In trying to analyze where I'm going wrong, I must be drifting backwards just enough to cause catches. In any event, more practice is indicated.

The winged shape is looking real good!
