A Chuck Gripping Question () Jorge Castaņeda
Emmet,
By chance I received a set of #3 serrated "tower" jaws for my Stronghold, not what I ordered, but decided to give them a try, I am glad I did, they became my workhorse.
I like to use the biggest tenon possible with the jaws almost closed and the "tower" jaws allow a lot deeper tenon as well, which adds to the strength, specially welcome when deep hollowing. Make sure you make a good shoulder, square and ample.
