There's a lot of things we learn to do that are not intuitive. I have never said it was natural for me to sharpen, I was pointing out that I could actually learn something from Marv. That part seems like your trying to put words in my message...:-/
If we ignored every task that we didn't know how to do, there's a slim chance that any of us would grow our skills.
It is by doing that we learn, and I try to encourage folks to do so, so that they will develop those skills and feel much more comfortable at it.
At the end of the day we all sharpen our saws one tooth at a time.:-)
