>I was beginning to think I was the only person that thought cherry was supposed to have some figure. The backs of the chairs I recently finished (I bought the chairs as I don't do chairs) have much "liveliness" and I think it's great. I got to pick 4 chairs from a batch of 12 and I went for the ones that would be.....as the misguided magazine authors would say....blotchy. Now there is a pejorative word for what should be a desirable property.
