Re: Got my tools somewhat organized

>I've been trying to do the same thing. I've worked from the concept that I use my tools in groups and have tried to establish stations around the shop. I put my saws, braces and eggbeaters together, lathe tools and lathe, bench and bench planes, misc. tools on pegboard such as wrenches, pliers, hammers, etc., I'm contemplating building a chest a la Cherubini for chisels, layout and other planes. Oh yea, sharpening is a separate station too.
For the saws I've built, or am building, an open saw case for the rip and xcut saws and my back saws are arranged on an octogon mounted on a lazy susan. The one I've built so far holds eight back saws.
I've taken a cue from Chris Schwartz and started using Shaker pegs. Maybe I'll post pictures when I'm finished. That is if I'm still alive. I maybe only have a good 30 years at most to live. That doesn't give me enough time to finish unless I rush some things.
