>I know you are to lubricate the burnisher prior to using. What type of oil? I don't want it on the wood for sure. I read Jasmine oil someplace, but that is expensive. I was thinking baby oil or sewing machine oil, very light on a cloth first?

I use whatever oil I find on the side of my nose or behind my ear.
