Can't see how the Veritas beading tool reqisters the cutter to vertical. That's kind of important if you want to "cut" the whole profile since tilting will change the results.

Given that "setting it vertical" issue, having a fixed fence that requires that you move the cutter to the desired location would appear to require resetting the cutter vertically each time.

The LN beading tool solves both problems - and keeps your hands lower - and lower is better with this type of tool.

Wonder when H.N.T. Gordon will come out with a beading tool version of their shaves? Their "handles" get your hands right down on the work. Looks pretty plane - but works really well.
