I REALLY do not like that jig; it gets in the way of any "natural" interaction with the file, and makes it quite difficult to move from tooth to tooth.

(I found one at a car boot, and have used it).

Further, it requires special files that aren't available in all sizes.

I am, BTW, quite a big fan of jigs, aids, and guides; I just don't think this is a good one.
