I had to do exactly what you are having to do to raise your mill up onto it's stand. I don't have a forklift or any mechanical means of raising something that heavy. I did it by myself using lots of wood blocks until I got it high enough to roll it onto the stand using short pieces of pipe for rollers. I has to be kind of a mood thing and the right attitude and take you time and not be in a hurry. Two people could do it in half the time though.

I have moved my mill three times this way.
