Eclipse blades ()

I think that what you say emphasizes that I need to work on technique. I am not sure what I am doing differently to before, but the Eclipse blades - while not the best to use - are unlikely to be the cause of the snapping, or as much the cause, as I previously thought.

Vallorbe blades come highly recommended by jewellers, and I have discovered (via the internet) that a supplier has an agency 10 minutes away. I think I will have a look there as I would like coarser blades than I have. I suspect that part of the reason for snapping blades is my overenthusiasm with blades that have too many teeth and cut so slowly. My old blades cut much faster.

Thanks again.

Regards from Perth

Derek
