Hand Tools Archive 2008

>What really made people mad was that they baned parts. Guns have their issues due to the US interstate thing, but something relatively benign like a trigger guard seems like an over-reach. From a liability perspective though, it's hard to disagree. Most of those sales were pretty nickle and dime while the potential downside was vast. Like who wants to wade through a part that gets involved in a machine gun federal issue, or something.
Us prides itself (depending on your perspective), on it's free gun laws, but there are lots of instances were Canadian laws are laxer. Of course we have really tight basics, and are overall much tougher, but the devil is in the details at times.
I have moved my tools business almost totally to Craigslist and similar sites, but as mentioned it isn't all that good for certain catagories. Without the auctions, it's pretty tough to make a profit on Craigs. It's OK for passing on stuff at a slight loss that otherwise is gumming up your works.
Obviously I would probably also list hand tools on Woodcentral if I was selling any.
