>If you want to use hide glue hammer veneering is oodles of fun. Urea is not a great benefit to the glue so I never use it. There can be quire significant localized pressure with veneers. I do a lot of boring veneers for structural purposes, but fancy veneers, like Birdseye have a nastily uneven micro surface that can require a lot of pressure to flatten out. Not a good thing for you basic vac cleaner. I wouldn't use gorilla, because it foams, and often with veneer there are those little areas that are not solid, and you can guess what might come percolating up. It is also highly carcinogenic if in contact with wet skin, so wear gloves.
