>Thanks, Thom and Paul; but it seems to me that once a bag is compressed it should stay that way for a relatively long time, depending on how well the vacuum/pump is detached and the bag sealed at the attachment point. Of course, I don't know anything much, but this does appear to be a handy step down of an essentially industrial process.
