>The size of the bag is really not too relevent as long as you have a decent pump and no leaks. Just takes longer to get down to the lowest level. It really doesn't take that much to pull a pretty good vacuum. The bigger pumps have more capacity (faster) and some bells and whistles like shutoffs at pressure, but for intermittent usage at home, it really is not too hard to set up something that will work.
