Once I get my fence "dead on" 90 degrees I lock it in position using a screw driven in from the top. This was a "down and dirty solution" but not very helpful when it comes time to replace the fence. The wooden knob/bolt arrangement you made is more what I was thinking of. When it comes time to adjust the fence, or replace it, simply back off the nut. The good news is that I can retrofit my shoot board pretty easily.

Thanks again for the compliments. And I have to say that your shoot board is MUCh prettier than mine! :>) Do you make all you shop jigs from Jarrah?
