>The birding community helps to track the migration of the ruby-throated hummingbirds. You can see their current position on the map on the Hummingbirds.net website.
They have moved into their normal ranges in the contiguous 48 states, save for the northern-most regions. Within the last week, they have crossed the border (their lack of passports nothwithstanding!) and are into southern Ontario and Nova Scotia. Sightings have also been made in the Montreal and Québec areas.
Charles (who is waiting with camera to record the first of them at his feeders)
