Slab box

Unusual Box *PIC* ()

>We've got a commercially made traveler's safety razor box - late 19th century? early 20th? - that's slab construction, if I recall correctly. Tiny little hinges and spring clasp. When I get a chance, I'll take a picture or two.

One of my round tuit projects is building a replica for one of my razors that disassembles - right now, when we go on (car) trips, I throw a double-edged safety razor in a baggie, but it would be nice to have something that protected the blade a bit better.

Not for plane trips, of course - the razor blades are deemed possible terrorist weaponry.
