>What I did, Edward, is go to the Gerstner site to get an idea of the overall size of the chest that they designed for shooters. Then I got a set of plans from Rockler. I didn't use the dimensions, but got it more for the ideas. Then I started roughing out what I thought would work. I drew up at least 3 full size drawings, but in the end I pretty much did it by what seemed right. My BIL likes it and uses it and I guess that's all that counts.

What I'm saying is, don't be bothered so much by a lack of plans. You can do it.
