>Within the last two years I've made two cherry tables with cabriole legs, and my Lee Valley flat and round shaves performed very well. I have a Lie Neilson which also works well, as well as several anteek Stanleys, but the Lee Valley shaves work so well and are so easy to adjust, that those are the ones that jump into my hand when I need a shave. Be aware that they work best on straight-grained wood. Knots and tricky grain will try your patience.
