Re: Question about Camellia oil

>Bill,
You are lucky. I battle rust constantly. If I have a plane on a shelf and an inch of the sole overhangs the shelf and it sits for a time unused I find the exposed edge coated with surface rust.I try to keep everything oiled but I forget sometimes.Camellia oil has made it alot easier to keep this pest at bay for me.Not only is it simple and quick to use ,it doesn't smell or affect the wood I use the tools on.
I don't know about vegetable oils but WD40 is not even close to optional.Get a bit of WD40 on your hands and then eat a sandwich without washing them.---Jack
