Nice work, it makes a lot of sense to have this
type of handle on a plane when shooting. When using
metal-bodied planes for shooting, and doing a considerable amount, I find myself grabbing a small cloth for lack of a better idea.

I had a question though.

Did you use the Sawstop to cut the Hot Dog to length :)
