Subject:
Eye dominance

Bill Houghton, like MN today, Sebastopol, CA
>All this time, I've assumed that my left eye (like my left hand) is dominant, because I feel as if I approach the world from my left side. I just did one of the tests suggested by a response on Christopher Schwarz' pirate sawing blog (link below - scroll down for the suggested tests), and it seems my right eye is dominant. Who'd have known?

In spite of that, I tend to shut my right eye when I'm looking closely at things, and I've never had that many issues with saw cuts, other than convincing my body to learn how to do them.

This forum generates so much educational benefit beyond just hand tools.
