>I am in the process of sharpening the blades and testing them out. The first is the #7. It made the cut in the picture. Since the sliding dovetails are cross grained, they are cut like dados. This plane cuts at a pleasing skew angle and throws out little shaving pieces. Kinda reminds me of using a #39. Cuts quickly and accurately. (Maybe that is due to the incredible blade set???)
