Subject:
cocked bead

Tony Zaffuto
>A few questions for an upcoming project: When using "cocked beads" does the trim stand proud of the face of the drawer or even with the face? Also, to those of you who have used "cocked beads" what is your preffered tool to cut the rabbet? Have any of you used contrasting wood? I am planning a side table with cherry as the primary wood. I've been saving a nice piece of birds eye maple for the drawer and am thinking of cherry cocked bead. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance for your answers!
