Todd O. Cronkhite Maine Native, Presently Away
>As promised, this morning I re-watched Tod Herrli's video on plane making to do a re-evaluation of it. In the thread "Roll Your Own Planes"started by Dave Mount below I had stated:
I watched Todd Herrli tape--once, and it about killed me. Seemed to me he went on and on and on and on.
Well folks, I stand before you, humbly corrected. As a matter of fact, I found the video to be excellent on all counts. What really blew me away was that he was answering questions as I was asking them, except for how long to leave the i-ron in the toaster oven.
To illustrate just a bit how much I enjoyed this tape, about half way thru it, just as he was starting to make the round, I had to shut it off and take care of a few domestic duties, and all the while I had the sensation that you get when you're forced to put away a good book that you're reading, and cannot wait to get back to it.
Sure, I'll have to re-watch it several times to get the layouts straight, but that's only because I am new to it, and not because it wasn't clearly presented, because it was.
So, my sincerest and humbliest apologies first and foremost to tod Herrli himself for badmouthing his video, than to Ray for falling asleep while watching it with him, than to all you Islanders that I gave bum dope to.
Todd O.
Hey, do I have to eat the feathers too? ;~)
