>I'm full of questions tonight. Received my water honing slips/cones and assumed their water stones (go figure). The instructions say I can soak in water for 3 min. or honing oil before use. I'm so confused, I gotta pick one medium. Does anybody know the pros/cons with water or oil?
Also if the answer is oil (yea a bad topic now, I know...) what would you use?
