Thank you! Based on everything you’ve reported so far, along with Warren’s post above, the file steel sounds really interesting.

My experience so far is that the unicorn nanobevel really reinforces the White 1 edge, even at extreme sharpness. See no reason it wouldn’t do the same for 1095 or file steel—they’re all clean steels.
