I wish these pictures could be posted in higher resolution to show the walnut grain better. The flanking top pieces were perfectly quarter sawn walnut. Daughter was pleased with the result.

The table is for behind a couch and becomes a room divider as well as a place to set drinks. It will serve the function of a coffee table. The original intention was for the rock to become a low coffee table in front of the couch but constraints precluded that choice.
